About

Harish Chandra Burnwal is a journalist and a writer. He has been working in television journalism for more than 20 years. He is currently working as a Vice President of BlueKraft Digital Foundation. BlueKraft Digital Foundation is a not-for profit organization that is actively working in the realm of policy and governance matters.

Before that Harish worked in IBN7 as an Associate Executive Producer for 11 years. Before joining IBN7, he was employed with the Star News. He also worked for Zee News & DD News.

Till date his Six books have been published. All these books have received great reviews from the readers and have been applauded. He has been honored with multiple government awards and recognitions, including the most coveted Bhartendu Harishchandra award from Government of India.

Harish Chandra Burnwal was born a in place called Neamatpur near Asansol in West Bengal. He is a graduate in ‘Political Science’ from the University of Delhi and in ‘Television Journalism’ from Jamia Millia Islamia. Harish is also a guest columnist on multiple newspapers and blog websites where he writes on current affairs. He have also been invited as guest lecturer on subject of ‘Journalism’ in many universities.

हरीश चन्द्र बर्णवाल

पश्चिम बंगाल में आसनसोल के पास नियामतपुर में जन्म। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से राजनीति शास्त्र में स्नातक (टॉपर) और जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया से टेलीविजन पत्रकारिता में स्नातकोत्तर। गुरु जामवेश्वर विश्वविद्यालय से पत्रकारिता में मास्टर ऑफ जर्नलिज्म की डिग्री। मानव अधिकार में पीजी डिप्लोमा। हरीश चंद्र बर्णवाल पिछले 20 सालों से टेलीविजन पत्रकारिता से जुड़े हैं। IBN7 से पहले स्टार न्यूज, जी न्यूज, DD न्यूज में काम करने का अनुभव। इस समय ब्लूक्राफ्ट डिजिटल फाउंडेशन में वाइस प्रेसिडेंट के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। साथ ही मीडिया एनालिस्ट के तौर पर भी अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं।

5. नरेंद्र मोदी की नीतियों पर आधारित पुस्तक ‘मोदी नीति’। प्रभात प्रकाशन ने इसे प्रकाशित किया है।

6. गजल संग्रह ‘लहरों की गूंज’ मुंबई के परिदृश्य प्रकाशन से प्रकाशित

‘यही मुंबई है’ कहानी के लिए अखिल भारतीय अमृतलाल नागर पुरस्कार।

‘चौथा कंधा’ कहानी के लिए कादम्बिनी पुरस्कार।
